I am a CELTA certified English language teacher with around 8 years of experience teaching in England, Italy and online.

I have had a great deal of experience teaching general English from A1-C2 levels, plus IELTS, Cambridge, TOEFL, OET and Language Cert exam preparation.

I currently live in the south of Italy and I have been teaching here, both face to face and online, for nearly 6 years. It is one of my favourite countries but soon I will be moving back to London, England. I have had a lot of students at various levels or with different needs study with me, and I am extremely grateful for all the experience I have had teaching here, which has made me the teacher I am today, student focused, professional and thorough.

I am a very fun teacher who loves her job and this can be seen through the lessons I deliver. I am able to diagnose the issues you have quickly with the language and help you, through various methods and strategies, to get you to your goal!

Whatever you need, I will spend endless hours researching and finding ways I can help you reach it, I never give up on a student!

Since I started working as an English language teacher I have worked both in London, England, and in Italy. To start my career I did a CELTA course at a college in London, from which I graduated with a Pass B. Before that I had studied performing arts for many many years, which I have found has helped me immensely when creating and delivering lessons as it has given me the tools to connect with my students, and make lessons fun and engaging.
I also worked in the catering industry before becoming a teacher, in pubs and restaurants, as part of management teams.
For my professional development I have not only attended many ELT conferences, both online and in person, but also taken courses on the British Council website to improve my teaching skills.
I intend to start the DELTA course in teaching next year, and also I have already signed up to a fantastic course to learn about a new approach to teaching speaking. I am extremelly excited about this opportunity as it will give me knew ideas and ways which will help me teach you, my students, better.
