My name is Teacher Beth.
I was born and raised in South Africa, however, I am currently living in Europe.
I am a qualified Early Childhood teacher and have a TEFL certificate.
I started teaching in a formal school in 2016 in South Africa and then later moved to Albania.
I specialize in teaching young learners vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, and writing skills. However, this does not restrict me to teaching older ones as well.
My teaching approach online follows the Montessori philosophy where you tailor each lesson to an individual student’s needs. As each student has different needs or is at different levels and I like to get to know them first so that I can tailor my classes to what works best for them.
A few interesting facts about me are that back home in South Africa I own a Senegal Parrot who of course loves my sister more than me. ;)
My hobbies include traveling, reading, spending long days at the beach, and experimenting with cooking new recipes.
