I'm an English teacher from South Africa.
I'm currently a TEFL certified English and Afrikaans instructor with a Bachelors Degree in Foundation Phase teaching. However, I have 1 year experience in teaching Grade 1 and Grade 2 English Home Language students.
I specialize in grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, accent reduction, writing and formatting test preparation. I teach my students how to read and write through phonics, for example: cat, c - a - t = cat
My teaching Method is to tailor a lesson plan and material to suit your specific needs. I believe that children learn through having fun, therefore I incorporate games, songs, stories, flashcards and rhymes. Driven to create a learning environment that serves as a safe space, where students can make mistakes, be their true, unique selves, as this bring me the most joy in my profession. My goal is to inspire and motivate the students to become the best version of themself.
My hobbies are exercising, baking desserts and being outdoors.
