My education and experience
Educational background
I graduated with a BSc in Pharmacy from Igbinedion University, where I studied Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and Pharmacognosy from 2009 to 2014. Additionally, I completed 'A' levels in Physics, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, IT, and Mathematics at Igbinedion University school of Natural Sciences in 2010.
TEFL certification
In 2024, I obtained a Qualifi Level 5 Diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (168 hours) from The TEFL Academy. This certification is Ofqual regulated and DEAC approved, covering lesson planning, classroom management, teaching skills across various levels, and materials development for both face-to-face and online lessons.
IELTS qualification:
I have also achieved an IELTS certification, which has further enhanced my English proficiency and ability to teach English as a foreign language effectively.
Work experience
Currently, I am employed as an English Teacher at Tianjin Seed Kindergarten since July 2024. In this role, I design and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to young learners, incorporating creative elements like songs and games to enhance language acquisition. I maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with colleagues on school events and activities.
Volunteer experience
Beyond formal teaching, I have volunteered at local community centers, organizing educational activities and assisting in after-school programs. These experiences have strengthened my ability to create interactive learning environments and support children's educational development.
Awards and certificates
