I have been an instructor of English at the School of Foreign Languages in several universities in Istanbul for more than 12 years. I studied English Language Teaching in New York also did my Master in English Language Teaching as well. Currently, I'm doing my PhD in Educational Technology in English in Istanbul. I also teach TOEFL and IELTS classes both synchronously and asynchronously.
As an educator, my teaching philosophy has always been a process of lifelong learning. I believe that the best teachers are the ones who should be very passionate and ambitious about both learning and teaching. The passion that the teacher has leads them to thorough preparation for their work which enables them to improve their teaching skills and contributes a lot to their learners’ success. Since most learners have different learning skills and techniques, a teacher must recognize how learners learn best in class or individually and plan her lessons accordingly. As a student I have always witnessed that the teachers are the ones who carry all the burden on their shoulders. However, as an educator now I remind my students that I am here for them to guide, I try to help to find their own paths. I try my best to focus on my student’s needs, abilities and interests and learning styles first, because I want my students to be active and responsible participants in their own learning. My teaching philosophy is based on the student-centered learning in which the instructor is a facilitator of the students learning. I expect my students not only to be successful in academic and professional life but also be successful critical thinkers throughout their lives.

我在伊斯坦布尔几所大学的外国语学院担任英语讲师已有 12 年多。我在纽约学习英语教学，也获得过英语教学硕士学位。目前，我正在伊斯坦布尔攻读英语教育技术博士学位。我还教授同步和异步的托福和雅思考试课程。
作为一名教育工作者，我的教学理念一直是终身学习的过程。我相信最好的老师是对学习和教学都充满热情和雄心的人。教师的热情使他们为工作做好了充分的准备，这使他们能够提高教学技能，并为学生的成功做出很大贡献。由于大多数学习者具有不同的学习技能和技巧，因此教师必须了解学习者在课堂上或个人学习中的最佳学习方式，并据此计划课程。作为一名学生，我一直看到教师是肩负所有重担的人。然而，现在作为一名教育工作者，我提醒我的学生，我在这里是为了指导他们，我试图帮助他们找到自己的道路。我尽我所能首先关注学生的需求、能力、兴趣和学习风格，因为我希望我的学生成为积极和负责任的学习参与者。我的教学理念是基于以学生为中心的学习，其中教师是学生学习的促进者。我希望我的学生不仅在学术和职业生涯中取得成功，而且在一生中都能成为成功的批判性思考者。

I have 12 years of teaching experience in English for Academic Purposes and skills as a preparatory school instructor in Istanbul, Turkey. I have worked in various departments including testing and assessment, material and curriculum development units throughout my career. With almost ten years’ experience as an English as a Foreign Language Teacher, I am adept in developing and implementing curriculum, managing classrooms, and helping students advance their understanding of English language and culture. Moreover, while my on-the-job experience has afforded me a well-rounded skill set, including first-rate people and administrative abilities, I excel at:
• Increasing student concentration, participation, and accountability.
• Creating hands-on curriculum to promote interest.
• Designing creative lesson plans and utilizing diverse technology.
• Tutoring and mentoring individual students.
In addition to my experience and personal qualities, I have a solid educational foundation and a passion for teaching & lifelong learning. I studied English Language Teaching at the State University of CORTLAND in NewYork USA, successfully completed my Master’s degree in English Language Teaching at Bahcesehir University. I am currently a PhD student in Educational Technology department at Bahcesehir University.

我有 12 年的学术英语教学经验，并曾在土耳其伊斯坦布尔担任过预科学校的老师。在我的职业生涯中，我曾在测试和评估、教材和课程开发部门等多个部门工作过。凭借近十年的英语外语教师经验，我擅长开发和实施课程、管理课堂以及帮助学生提高对英语语言和文化的理解。此外，虽然我的在职经验使我拥有全面的技能，包括一流的人际交往和管理能力，但我擅长：
