English learning can be complex, but it’s also fun and exciting! Let’s build your confidence together. I can help with fluency and pronunciation, academic writing and reading, and even business English for adults.

I am an experienced A-Level tutor, recently TEFL qualified so expanding into ESL teaching. I really enjoy working with students one to one or in small groups building up their confidence. My intensive course involved detailed grammar, reading, listening, writing, speaking/pronunciation, young learners, business English specialisations.

I have a first-class degree in History so can help a lot with academic skills, and my experience in office-based roles in banking and legal sectors enables me to support students in learning business English as well as application and interview preparation.

Using a wide range of foundational resources, I tailor my lessons to the personal needs and wants of my students. I will carry out student level tests to ensure we are working at the right level. Most of my lesson plans involve the PPP or ESA structures but I also adapt to involve task-based learning, communicative language teaching, and community language learning – all to maximise student talking time, so you get the practice you need.

I love reading, music, travelling, cooking, and/or going out to eat! I think connecting over hobbies and integrating them into language learning can be one of the best ways to make lessons engaging and effective.
