I am from South Africa, I am currently in the process of completing my degree in intermediate teaching majoring in Science and Mathematics, I am currently a teacher at a private school, teaching Science and technology, I teach English from time to time as a substitute teacher.

I have 5 years teaching experience teaching the following subjects: English, Mathematics, Science, Technology and IsiZulu. I am currently the director for an NPO called Elevate which offers education support programs in underprivileged schools and communities.

I am completing my qualification in Education. I started teaching about 4 years ago. I've started teaching private lessons when I was 17, following with doing some substitutions at private institutes. Then, while I was at university, I had two opportunities in which I worked as student assistant, that is, collaborating with the teacher of a specific chair doing some work like commanding a class, checking on the roll, etc. After graduating, I worked at an elementary school with 1st graders and at a kindergarten, teaching 4-year-old toodlers. Currently, I'm working as an online Spanish medical interpreter for a company in Tallahassee, Florida.

Due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, we teachers were kind of forced to limit our classes to digital material, both synchronic and asynchronic classes, even dynamic activities like games were modified. In my personal case, I taught 20-30 year-old seniors, intermediate level and 6-7 kids.

I approached teaching as a holistic principle, not setting the classbook aside at all but integrating the actvities proposed in it with other resources that the technological advance can provide.

What is more, in the development of my lessons, I always tried to include tools and materials that my students will enjoy. For example, when treating with adolescents, I managed to elicit their linguisitic knowledge through songs from their favourite bands/singers or through the making of presentations, debates and the like about videogames, movies, etc. With kids, I made a great use of background songs to make up the environment.

For example, to practice vocabulary, we used to go through activities like scavenger hunts, puzzles, searching while I played a suspense song (mission impossible soundtrack for instance) to encourage them. And I can continue enlisting all the things that I did to carried out my online classes as dynamic and enjoyable for students and for me as possible.

I am Mitantsoa. I'm a passionate teacher of English because I think English can change lives and it can empower us. Before the UK, I worked with an awesome organisation called Onja in Madagascar, and we helped underprivileged students become English-speaking web developers in two years. I spent 4 years working with them until I decided to continue my study in the UK. In the UK, I worked with students from diverse backgrounds at CIE over the summer. I had the great privilege to teach students from Japan, Hong Kong, Italy, Turkey, Spain, Poland and Israel. I like making lessons very interactive and focused on what students need first. I like doing activities that helps with my students' language skills but also communication skills as I believe to be a successful learner is to be able to get out in the world and communicate on your own.

My name is Kelly! I am 24 years old and I live in sunny South Africa, I used to reside in the UK for about 10 years but my parents decided to come back to South Africa for family. I have travelled to a few places around the world, like France, Gibraltar, places within the UK and South Africa.

I have worked with children from the ages 7 to 13 years of age. I teach the English language as well as Afrikaans. Having completed my primary to high school education in Australia, I relocated to Türkiye in 2018 and started teaching English to speakers of other languages. I've worked with students from many parts of the globe in many different professions and academic levels. I've taught English to students at Language Schools throughout Türkiye and abroad; having worked remotely, on-site, as well as hybrid.
I'm also an international bachelor of Data Science student at IU University in Germany. I briefly studied Computer Science before transitioning to Data, as well as a Social Sciences and Counselling Skills degree before that.
