About me

Hi there!
I am excited because I love teaching and helping students gain knowledge. I have taught as a teacher to high school students at Government Secondary School, Nigeria for two years and as a part time teacher to young learners at God’s Joy Day Care Centre.
While working at the Government Secondary School, I aimed at achieving excellence and maintaining high academic standards of the students as they prepared for the National and West African Examinations.
Currently living abroad in China, I can easily adapt to new environments. I also enjoy immersing myself in the language, lifestyle and traditions of other cultures.
I would like for you to work with me because I am looking for opportunities where I can take ownership over my work and exercise more independence and it is equally important for me to teach students that seek and encourage innovation and progress

Master's Degree in Chinese Politics from Renmin University of China, China (2021 - 2023)
Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria (2014 - 2019)

Work Experience:
English Teacher at Government Secondary School, Nigeria (2019 - 2021)
Responsibilities: Developed, planned and implemented a lesson plan for students, Established and maintained positive relationships with students, fostering an environment of open communication and support, Advised students on future career choices, Assisted in organizing entrepreneurship workshops for students to gain technical skills and Volunteered in fundraising for marginalized school students to remain in school

Part time Kindergarten Teacher at God's Joy Daycare Centre (2016 - 2018)
Responsibilities: Provided basic childcare by ensuring children’s safety was maintained before, during and after activities, Employed a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.) to teach children and Communicated with parents and updated them on their children's welfare and progress
