About me

Hello, my name is Elika and I am a level 6 certified TEFL English language tutor.

My teaching style incorporates songs, movies, poetry, and pop culture to make language come alive for students of all ages. By blending these creative elements with a strong foundation in grammar, I ensure that my students not only master the rules of the language but also understand how English is used in real-life contexts.

Since 2012, I have provided private tutelage on a one-on-one basis, helping students achieve their individual language goals tailored to their needs. I am dedicated to familiarising my students with a variety of accents and dialects, helping them become confident in understanding and using English in diverse situations. Whether it’s through a deep dive into a favourite movie scene or a lively discussion about the latest music trends, I strive to create an immersive learning environment that keeps students engaged and excited.

Above all, I believe that learning should be fun. With an infectious enthusiasm and a positive, supportive approach, I inspire my students to explore the language with curiosity and joy. In every lesson, I aim to make English learning an adventure, where students feel empowered to express themselves and discover the richness of the language.
