About me

Hello my name is Hannah and I am a newly qualified TEFL teacher, offering a fresh, creative approach to learning English.

I am extremely patient, committed and passionate about teaching and my lessons are very student- centred. I adapt my lesson plans to suit each individual student, ensuring that I listen to each students needs and encourage motivation through exploring different learning techniques. As a native speaker of English I will adapt teaching methods and materials so that they are tailored to each individual based on their proficiency skills.

My strong communication and interpersonal skills will offer each student the opportunity to learn English with confidence whilst also having fun and engaging in some exciting activities. I currently work as a youth worker, which involves working with children and young people working 1:1, offering support, advise and encouraging learning through creativity, physical exercise and mindful activities. I have previously worked in schools as a teaching assistant, working 1:1 with SEN pupils and planning and delivering group interventions and lessons.

I am interested in learning about different cultures and I am currently learning Spanish so I therefore understand the process of learning a new language.

I am here to help improve your grammar, enhance your speaking skills and assist with reading, writing and listening.
I can help you to expand your vocabulary and improve your conversation skills through individually tailored, engaging and exciting lessons.
