About me

Hi there my name is Jordan, and I am excited to be your English tutor. Originally from the UK, I now call the beautiful city of Cape Town, South Africa, my home. With an undergraduate and honours degree in Engineering Geology, I bring a unique analytical perspective to my teaching.

I have completed a comprehensive 240-hour TEFL course and have been tutoring for three years, with the past year dedicated entirely to online teaching. My approach is high-energy and interactive, ensuring that every lesson is engaging and tailored to your interests and daily life. This personalized method makes learning more relevant and enjoyable.

My education and experience

I hold undergraduate and honours degrees in Environmental Engineering Geology and have completed a 240-hour TEFL course. With three years of tutoring experience, including teaching Zulu and Afrikaans children in math, English, and science during my undergrad, I now focus exclusively on teaching English. Currently working full-time for Tutor ABC, I have dedicated the past year to being a full-time online tutor. My background equips me with a unique perspective and a high-energy teaching style that keeps students engaged and motivated.
