About me

Hello!

My name is Kate and I have been teaching English language for more than 14 years and always enjoy working with my students no matter where they are, how old they are and what level of knowledge they have.

The most essential aspect for me is to enhance people's desire to learn more, to speak more and to be able to fearlessly express themselves step by step improving communicative skills, grammar and vocabulary, for them to become confident and fluent in all the language aspects.

I prefer using different types of materials and resources in order to make lessons interesting, easy and informative. I always pay strong attention to the student’s needs and requests, mood and moral state, deadlines and goals. Because in my opinion long and fruitful cooperation are very often based on mutual respect, understanding and a «student+teacher» match. I believe that after a couple of lessons you already understand if it's the right combination and if it's going to work. No matter what teacher you choose, best of luck in this exciting journey :)

My education and experience

I finished T. Shevchenko National University (Ukraine, 2012) as well as Plekhanov University of Economics (Russia, 2021), have two diplomas:
"Philology specialist, teacher of English and Spanish languages and Foreign literature" and "Marketing and Management specialist".

At the beginning of my professional way I worked at the Linguistic centre (2009-2014). There I taught English and Spanish languages individually and in groups, had students of different levels (English A1-C1, Spanish A1-A2) and wide age range (5-60 y.o.), prepared them for school and international exams, BTs and various educational & working programs.

In 2015-2016 I worked at a private school where continued teaching English to young learners (A1-B1 levels aged 6-14) as well as tutoring online (A1-C1 levels).

Starting from 2016 I have been working as an interpreter and going on with my tutoring practice both online and offline (A1-C1 levels).
At the moment I am interested in focusing on teaching experience more because this brings me much bigger joy and I feel that can share a lot with my potential new students.

I have CAE and CPE certificates and an Agile certificate.
