“Hello, I'm Olu! I've been tutoring for several years now specializing in Maths and English. I've taught from primary school, secondary/ high school, college students and mature adults. I am currently looking to advance my qualifications by teaching English as a foreign language . One of my proudest moments as a tutor was when I taught one of my college students A level/ grade 9 topic and she mastered it although she is only predicted a grade 4! 4 year REACH program, where I taught students the skills to put them on a path to college. My teaching style can best be described as interactive, supportive, and transparent. I encourage my students to have a voice in the classroom, ask questions when they come up, and participate actively in all conversations regardless of their level of confidence. My ambition is to ensure that my students feel confident to make errors and attempt to grow. Growth doesn’t happen without risk, I wish to cultivate confidence in and outside of the class so each lesson is transformative.

Outside of teaching I’m an avid practitioner of jujitsu and if jujitsu has taught me anything about life and education it’s the following. No matter the problem or challenge there is always a solution there is always a way to achieve your goal. I apply this approach to teaching I firmly believe there is a way to ensure each learner makes progress
