About me

Hello there! I am a reliable, punctual, and organized professional with a strong work ethic and a passion for helping others.

Throughout my career, I have taken on diverse roles and responsibilities. I have worked as a Graduate Trainee Data Analyst in Public Health, a Helpdesk Coordinator at York University Student Union, and a Group Mentor Volunteer Coordinator with the global charity, the FutureSense Foundation. Within these positions, I have successfully managed charity projects, coordinated educational programs in Thailand, and actively participated in local government initiatives, among other tasks and achievements.

My greatest strength lies in championing others to succeed. I am passionate about helping my students achieve their language goals and will provide unwavering support throughout their learning journey. I am an excellent communicator, capable of conveying complex concepts and grammar rules in a clear and concise manner. This ensures that students can easily grasp and apply the knowledge effectively.

My education and experience

I have passed my level 3 Teaching English as a Foreign Language certificate, with 120 hours of teacher training from the TEFL academy. The modules I have completed are as follows:

Understanding and teaching English grammar – Pass
Teaching vocabulary and pronunciation – Pass
Teaching receptive skills: listening and reading – Pass

I also hold an Integrated Master's in Psychology with a focus on developmental disorders from the University of York, achieving a 2:1. Additionally, I have a solid academic record, including A-levels in Law and Psychology.
