Hello, I'm Shasti Pillay. I'm born in South Africa, reside in the Gauteng province. I'm happily married and we have both a baby girl and a wonderful family dog. I'm a well organized, patient and hard working person. I am willing and passionate about helping others, learning new things and accepting to new ideas. I am able to motivate and direct my talents and skills to meet objectives. I'm a great listener and have great communication skills.  I enjoy cooking, baking, listening to music, watching tv shows, movies and meeting and interacting with new people, as I find learning about other cultures enjoyable. 
There is no greater feeling than seeing your students achieving their goals, that is why I am passionate about teaching and helping others to improve their language skills.

I am a qualified TEFL teacher. I have previously worked in sales as a tele-sales consultant, Kumon(South Africa) as a tutor to children between Gr R- Gr 7 teaching Math and English and a law firm as a receptionist. In these various positions I've acquired a variety of skills such as good communication skills and handling children of various age groups.
