About me

I am an English-speaking graduate woman and IT citizen. I have completed a 168-hour Level 5 TEFL Certificate with The TEFL Academy + a 30h course Teaching English to young learners.
I have a real desire to improve the lives of others by teaching English therefore I create exciting and engaging lessons to motivate my students and help them to learn effectively.
Being a versatile educator, I have had the opportunity to instruct a wide variety of students from various backgrounds and all facets of society. As a result, I am a compassionate teacher, who remains sensitive to people's unique needs, differentiates instruction, provides individual and whole group support, integrates multicultural teaching units, and offers positive encouragement and reinforcement to keep students focused and motivated.

• Apply cultural understanding to discern specific meanings beyond literal written words.
• Consult specialized dictionaries, thesauruses and reference books to identify closest equivalents for nuanced terminology, words and phrases.
