About me

My name is Thando Nkosi. I am 22 years of age. I am from South Africa. I would describe myself as an
achiever, a hard worker and a dedicated person who already has the skills and background education
qualification that matches the job description. over the years I have been studying film and television
at the university of Johannesburg, I recently gr and I added additional modules in sociology as
well. I am eager to be in this sector because I love teaching. I am currently teaching English as a second
language or foreign language at a school that is based in Ukraine called just school. I teach both adults
and kids. I always make sure that it is a safe space for them to learn and I promise them to improve their
English which is what I am currently doing. Teaching is my passion; I love engaging with people so that
they can receive the good results that they need. I believe that participants should engage with me
because I am open to conversations. I am open and available to another person. To me that is how I
connect with others. I have empathy and compassion. I do not mind having a personal conversation with
someone so that they can reach their personal goals regarding what we are learning. I always make use
of good examples, examples that relate to the life that we are living right now. I listen attentively and
understand very well. I offer gratitude to others. I am a very honest and kind person. I can also adapt to
change. I don’t struggle to deal with the change. I believe in teamwork and me working with students
means we are in a team because we are working together towards the same goal. I am very supportive, I
listen to others and I don’t mind getting assistance when I need one. I am very good with coaching and
I’m able to convince a group of people to work hard and submit good results. I’m a very unique teacher
because what makes me unique is my ability to meet deadlines together with my students and excel in
my work.

My education and experience

I recently graduated at the University of Johannesburg in April. I have a digital journalism certificate which I completed this year. I have a TEFL certificate which allows me to teach English as a foreign language. I have work experience in teaching as I am currently teaching both adults and children in Ukraine. I have a couple of awards from Hight school and my degree. Available upon request.
