About me

My name is Valerie and I am from Ecuador, where I currently reside. I absolutely love what I do for a living and enjoy coming up with different teaching methods that cater to my students' needs and interests. In my classes, I make it a priority to create a friendly and relaxed environment without any unnecessary pressure. Traveling is one of my favorite things to do because I'm fascinated by different cultures. Learning a new language also means immersing yourself in a whole new culture, and that is something I truly believe. That is why I often incorporate cultural aspects, especially from South America, into my lessons.

My education and experience

As a professional with a Master's degree in teaching Spanish to foreigners, I have been working as an English teacher for nearly a decade. Moreover, I have been providing my services as an online Spanish teacher for the past four years, both through private classes and an online language institute.
