About me

I have experience in teaching students of all ages and all proficiency levels. I adopt inclusive, intercultural, and integrative teaching methodologies. This approach allows me to cater to the diverse educational and emotional needs of heterogeneous student groups. By incorporating natural, meaningful, and multicultural contexts into language instruction, I create a dynamic learning environment that stimulates students' curiosity, nurtures their creativity, and simultaneously enhances their critical thinking and communication skills.

My education and experience

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Translation and Interpreting from Bogazici University, and a Master's degree in English and American Studies from the University of Lisbon. Throughout my teaching career, I have gained experience instructing students of all ages and proficiency levels, ranging from preschool to university.
During the initial two years of my teaching journey, I focused on teaching English to preschool and elementary school children. This experience proved to be highly rewarding as it allowed me to grasp the theoretical foundations of education while honing my practical skills in language instruction for young learners. Since 2019, I have served as a Lecturer, specializing in academic English, across multiple universities. In this role, my main responsibilities encompassed designing lesson plans, creating teaching materials, delivering engaging language lessons, facilitating student development in all aspects of the English language, evaluating student assignments and exams, and providing constructive feedback.
