As a professional, I am a confident, competent, disciplined, and responsible
person, dedicated to achieving a degree of excellence in all that I do. This is
accomplished by leveraging successes of past experiences, surrounding myself
with inspiring mentors and continually bench marking best practice.
My ability to think strategically, coupled with my organizational skills and ability
to get a job done, as well as my eagerness to become involved in diverse school
activities are part of my forte.

I am proficient in guiding children into learning by creating interesting
examples and models, developing novel interactive learning tools and creating
an enquiry centered approach to content that stir and challenge the young
mind. There is no greater reward than seeing the smile on the learner’s face as
he or she grasps a new concept or feels excited by recently discovered
knowledge. I am a task master; learners seeing improved results and realizing
that with effort comes reward is what I aspire to achieve with every individual
who enters my classroom.

If education is about the application of knowledge and intellectual skills, then
information technology is vital in today’s classroom. I embrace all the latest
technology available to work smarter and with more relevance to current global
trends. The Interactive White Board, the personal computer and the Internet are the
current tools that I employ. I look forward to the roll out of tablets in the classroom
which would further enhance diverse opportunities in teaching practice.
Knowing that success comes with teamwork, I consider myself to be a team
player and I am always enthusiastic about initiating and developing professional
relationships with my colleagues and with parents. In short, I have a love for
