I am passionate about my job! It is pleasant to feel useful, to be someone who make learning easier for another person! I try to make learning fun and interesting. Not that one doesn't need grammar rules, but even they can be made slightly less boring! I teach my students to speak on various subjects, sing songs, use idiomatic expressions, read short stories and do other equally interesting things! I am creative, patient and punctual! I never give up on a student, some just need more encouragement and patience than others!

I am currently a month away from graduating from my BSc science degree in which I major I major in genetics and microbiology. I have developed a passion for teaching together with learning which started with my first student. Hello my name is Elaine, I am 23 years old and I’m an EFL teacher from Ireland.

I first discovered my love for EFL teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic where I completed a TEFL course. I have been teaching in a private language school for the past year, while I completed a higher diploma in English.
