I have been an instructor of English at the School of Foreign Languages in several universities in Istanbul for more than 12 years. I studied English Language Teaching in New York also did my Master in English Language Teaching as well. Currently, I'm doing my PhD in Educational Technology in English in Istanbul. I also teach TOEFL and IELTS classes both synchronously and asynchronously. As an educator, my teaching philosophy has always been a process of lifelong learning. I try my best to focus on my student’s needs, abilities and interests and learning styles first, because I want my students to be active and responsible participants in their own learning. My teaching philosophy is based on the student-centered learning in which the instructor is a facilitator of the students learning.
