My name is Yusra! I am an English teacher who always aspires to get unique teaching opportunities, and a continuing student in the school of life. I started teaching adults when I was in Syria as a university instructor for first and second year students, and since then my passion for English Language teaching has started. I moved to Turkey in 2014, and there I had the chance to teach in different language schools and gained a lot of experience. Then, I moved to Hungary to pursue my masters and I was fortunate as well to teach high school students in one of the schools in Budapest. I believe that I am a good team member and a patient teacher and who puts her students needs first and work upon that to create a fun and fruitful environment for students. My teaching method is described as nontraditional, fun, practical and creative.

I am an outstanding teacher with impeccable English and native fluency, Master’s Degree, more than 25 years of continuous, solid local and international experience with ESL learners. My lessons are action-packed, with interesting interactive exercises and games which help students acquire foreign language skills and practise speaking, reading, listening and writing in the best way. The relaxing atmosphere I create during the lessons make them feel at ease to askquestons, express opinion and fully develop their potential. As a university Teacher I teach General English and ESP to both local and foreign students, which includes Primary Teachers, Machine Engineering, Transport, Business, Medical, IT, Tourism. Ten times I worked for BC accredited summer schools int he UK, teaching students from all over the world and conducting workshops on Cambridge exams. In summer 2019 and 2022 I taught EAP on Pre-sessional courses at Southampton University - we prepared Chinese students to continue their HE and earn a Master’s degree in the UK. I also teach online - ESP and General English to adults/corporate clients for a language school in Germany and Switzerland. In the past I taught Japanese middle and high school students online as well.
