I am an English teacher from Australia, with 1+ years of ESL experience teaching both children and adults in the classroom and online.

I started teaching English officially in 2021, although I have been tutoring for longer. I have taught students from Europe and Asia and have recently just come back from a semester in Madrid, Spain.

I specialise in teaching grammar, vocabulary, conversational English, and Business English.

My teaching methods are to tailor and specialise lesson plans to suit what you need.

Between my work, I like to do digital art and 3D modelling as well as play video games.

I have a passion for teaching both young and old. During the pandemic, my children were able to continue with their education uninterrupted because i had the capability of teaching them. This is where i gained some of my experience in teaching. I also do a lot of community work teaching others to enhance themselves with basic life skills. My confidence has been enhanced through this work, and also giving me more informal teaching experience. I am very patient and always want my students to feel free to ask anything they are not sure of without hesitation. We all learn through asking questions.

I am a British English native speaker and a warm and friendly person who loves meeting people from all cultures and backgrounds and I have travelled extensively throughout the world. I have worked in all kinds of industries form Media and Entertainment and Veterinary Nursing to running my own businesses.

I like to make learning fun and engaging and l make every lesson individually for you whether that is working on your pronunciation and grammar or practising interview techniques. You will improve your speaking skills by learning real-life scenarios and situations.

With a background in psychology and psychotherapy I naturally demonstrate empathy and patience and am an excellent listener and communicator so as a teacher I know what a personal journey language learning can be and the challenges and sometime frustrations that can develop, but there is no need to worry because we will progress at your own pace.

Hello, my name is Duncan Campbell, an ESL teacher in Cape Town. I have been tutoring English, History, and Biology since high school. I have been teaching English online going on for four years now, and I have experience teaching children from the ages of 4 - 17 and adults to the age of forty-five, from all around the globe. I have taught students who had not previously had any exposure to the language and started them with their phonics courses all the way through to being able to speak to a native. I have had students whom I tutored for examinations to get into their desired schools. I have also recently begun teaching business English which has been an interesting learning curve, and have had to adapt to a whole new set of needs.
