When it comes to teaching a language, there are many benefits to being a native speaker. One great advantage is that you never have to constantly think about grammar or in some cases pronunciation and spelling. Although this privilege can be a game changer in terms of fluency and many other things, it also prevents a teacher from understanding and experiencing the learning path and its obstacles as a second language learner.
